The United States version of the 2013 Chevrolet Spark went into production on April 16, 2012, and arrived in dealerships in August 2012. For 2014 in North America, the automatic transmission is a Jatco M4MCVT7 continuously variable transmission (CVT) and the final drive ratio lowered to 3.75.
